Southwest Redesigns Web Site

Southwest Airlines on Monday announced it is enhancing the usability of its web site. The new design is cleaner with fewer links to click through—but visitors still must click to book flights. According to internal Southwest research, that's the way customers prefer to book, as opposed to booking flights directly from the home page, as other carriers allow customers to do, reports Salt Lake City's Deseret News.
