Swiss International Air Lines reached a tentative contract deal with the Aeropers pilots' union. Details were not disclosed, but the new pact would go into effect Nov. 1, or after its 700 union members have had time to review the proposal. Aeropers is one of two pilots' unions at Swiss, and the union had previously threatened to strike if negotiations failed to produce an acceptable agreement.
