Guida Botelho has joined The Travel Institute as director of training. In her new position, Botelho will be primarily responsible for designing travel agent training programs for all levels of experience and business models.
Most recently she was training manager at Atlas Travel, where she created and implemented departmental and individual training for the agency’s 200 plus employees.
While at Atlas Travel, Botelho created the training program from the ground up, developing a variety of courses, manuals, job support aids, and seminars for employees located across the U.S.
In addition, Botelho presented virtual and real-time training sessions to the agency’s leisure and corporate agents and developed internship programs to train new talent.
