America's Vacation Center announced that its affiliated independent agent, Diane Bower, was named by American Express as a 2006 Representative Pacesetter. The American Express Pacesetter Program is one of the longest-running recognition programs within the American Express Travel Representative Network. Pacesetters are the top-producing sales agents in the various American Express travel groups across the globe, and are chosen based on their sales performance, customer service skills and involvement in the travel agent community. Bower, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based travel agent, affiliated her business with AVC in 2004. She focuses primarily on selling cruises and is projected to sell more than $5 million worth of cruises and vacation packages this year.
