Cancun ranks at or near the top for holiday travel bookings on two popular web sites.
Recent bookings on Travelocity make Cancun the web site’s No. 1 international destination for holiday travel, ahead of London, Cabo, Jamaica and the Bahamas, among others.
Orbitz places Cancun in the No. 2 spot for overseas holiday travel (outranked only by San Juan), based on bookings for December and early January. Air-ticket sales on Orbitz were higher for Cancun than Mexico City, London and Puerto Vallarta for holiday travel this year.
