Borgata Set to Unveil $200 Million Expansion

On June 30, The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City will unveil its $200 million expansion. The property will offer three celebrity chef restaurants: Bobby Flay Steak; Wolfgang Puck American Grille; and Seablue, a Michael Mina restaurant. The Cafeteria will also open as a quick-service dining outlet, which will include the dining concepts of Lettuce Head and MiniBar. Also look for Bread and Butter, a new 30-seat café, to debut. The property has also added 36,120 square feet of casino floor space. Highlights include Atlantic City's largest poker room and racebook. A new nightclub, Mur.Mur, is set to open in the near future. The Borgata is a joint venture between Boyd Gaming and MGM Mirage, and opened in 2003 as Atlantic City's first new resort in 13 years.
