A Taste of Home in Beijing

December 4, 2009 By: Meagan Drillinger

On your next trip to Beijing, after you have exhausted your palate with the local cuisine and are craving a taste of home, be sure to hit up the Village in the trendy Sanlitun district.

The China Guide is recommending the Village, an open-air complex with foreigh high-end brand names as well as Chinese brands, to all travelers who are curious about, or just plain miss, American-style restaurants.

The Village has also recently added an outdoor skating rink.

"We know that travelers to China love the culture and food, but they still appreciate a good western meal or Starbucks coffee. And that's why we recommend a visit to the Village," says Judy Huang, Travel Manager of The China Guide.
