Central Holidays reports an agreement with Ensemble Travel Group that makes Central Holidays one of the consortium’s preferred suppliers. As a preferred supplier, Central Holidays will offer the group’s members training opportunities, bonuses and incentives, and marketing tools that will help them boost their earnings with Central Holidays’ wide range of travel opportunities. This includes Italy, Greece, France, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, Turkey and Egypt – for customized travel for individuals and groups, independent packages (FIT), fly/drive programs, cruises, ski vacations, car rentals, and meeting and incentive services.

“We are honored to be selected as a preferred supplier by Ensemble Travel Group,” said Fred Berardo, president and CEO of Central Holidays. “The international organization has a robust network of more than 850 member agencies in the U.S. and Canada, as well as a proven brand with a time-honored history of more than four decades strong. We look forward to providing their members, many who specialize in high-end and luxury-focused travel, with niche destination expertise and meticulously planned itineraries as well as superior service, support, and the ideal options to fulfill their clients’ travel needs.”

“This new relationship with the Central Holidays Travel Group family of companies enables our members to offer their clients a greater range of travel programs and destination specialization – including highly customized FIT itineraries throughout Italy, Greece and the Mediterranean. Additionally, with the exclusive rights to the 2015 Passion Play in Italy, Central Holidays presents our agents with the opportunity to benefit from the ever-growing spiritual travel group niche,” said Suzanne Hall, senior director, marketing and development/land products, Ensemble Travel Group.

As part of an alliance with the town of Sordevolo in Italy, Central Holidays has been named the key tour operator partner for upcoming events in 2015 of the acclaimed Passion Play in Italy that will be performed four times a week from June through September. Similar in tradition to the Oberammergau Passion Play of Germany, Sordevolo’s La Passione Di Cristo is a re-enactment of the Passion of the Christ that has taken place in this small town every five years since the beginning of the 18th Century. This Passion Play experience is further enhanced by its location in Italy, offering the opportunity for individual travelers or religious groups to combine their time in Sordevolo with visits to other cities - such as Rome, Florence, Venice.

New for 2012, Central Holidays’ destination specialists have created more opportunities for travel agents to present the tailored vacation experiences across Italy, Greece, Europe and the Mediterranean. Packages in Italy offer the chance to pick and choose from popular destinations such as Rome, Florence, Venice, the Italian Riviera and the Amalfi Coast. In Greece, travelers can enjoy new “Hop & Stop” island-hopping programs that offer added flexibility for travelers. In France, Spain and Portugal FIT opportunities abound include the company’s “Discover” packages; stays in villas and castles; and food and wine packages featuring cooking classes with acclaimed chefs.
