Nexion reports that Cris De Souza has joined the company as vice president of sales and marketing. In this new position, De Souza will guide Nexion staff and oversee supplier partners and enhance Nexion’s new member organization by introducing recruitment strategies.
She will also lead corporate communications, business development and education initiatives. De Souza reports directly to Nexion president Jackie Friedman.
Throughout her 15-year career in the travel industry, De Souza has held a variety of strategic executive positions in the cruise industry and agent distribution channel.
Prior to joining Nexion, De Souza was an executive, sales strategy and national accounts with Royal Caribbean Cruises and most recently the director of national accounts for AmaWaterways.
