April 4, 2012 By: George Dooley Travel Agent

ARC reports that Norwegian Cruise Line is now a Helix preferred supplier. The announcement was made at the recent San Diego Helix Symposium attended by a record 75 attendees.

“The success of Norwegian Cruise Line relies on the support of our travel partners,” said Andy Stuart, executive vice president, global sales and passenger services at Norwegian Cruise Line. “We want to build a strong relationship with this new group of experienced agents.”

Helix is an exclusive members-only program for home-based and retail travel agencies. Helix currently features more than 30 preferred suppliers in its portfolio.

Christopher Flores, Helix program director said Helix looked forward to building a strong partnership with Norwegian. “The Helix Symposium series has been a success. Our members find real value in the content and agenda and our suppliers really favor the intimate setting,” said Flores.

“We are committed to building on the symposiums and look forward to providing our members with quality education and training opportunities,” Flores said.

Future Helix Symposiums will be held June 3-4 in Atlantic City, N.J. and November 5-6 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
