Travel Leaders reports that its wholly-owned and Associate (franchised) locations won over $55.9 million in new business accounts during the second quarter of 2011.

Representing a more than 20 percent increase over the first quarter, Travel Leaders new business wins now total over $102 million in 2011. Travel Leaders said that this is a conservative estimate given that the data is gathered through voluntary reporting of new business by both Travel Leaders Associates and Travel Leaders Corporate on a quarterly basis. Also, the total does not include new business accounts won by any other Travel Leaders Group division or members.

“We followed a very solid first quarter with a phenomenal second quarter. This is attributed solely to the dedication, creativity and hard work of our sales, marketing, and proposal writing teams,” stated Travel Leaders Corporate President David Holyoke.  “We have aggressively pursued a number of large bids with great success.  Plus, the Travel Leaders Corporate account management team brings this same level of dedication to the table in retaining existing business, and finding fresh, innovative ways to manage our clients’ travel programs.”

“The pace at which our Travel Leaders Associates continue to gain new business travel account demonstrates that the proprietary tools and support we offer remain unparalleled in the industry,” stated Travel Leaders Franchise Group President Roger E. Block. “These new contracts for business travel also provide tangible proof that American businesses see the indispensable value in the service, the cost-savings measures and the overall return on investment that our Travel Leaders Associates bring to their business.”
