The MS AmaDagio // (c) 2011 AmaWaterways.

AmaWaterways is relocating the 150-passenger MS AmaDagio to the Rhone River in Southern France, beginning with the 2012 season.

The MS AmaDagio will be cruising a 7-night itinerary from Lyon to Arles and back again from late March through the end of the year, as part of the “Provence and Spain” river cruise vacation program.

This program begins with three nights in Paris, including a sightseeing program, accommodations and optional tours plus the service of an AmaWaterways cruise manager. The trip then travels to Lyon via TGV train, where guests enjoy a cooking demonstration before beginning a 7-night cruise aboard the MS AmaDagio. Other highlights include the Beaujolais wine region; visits to a winery, local market and olive farm; tours of Roman ruins; and overnights in the UNESCO Heritage sites of Avignon and Arles.

After the cruise, guests continue to Barcelona for a three-night stay that includes a tour of Montjuic Hill, Placa Catalania, Las Ramblas, and the Gothic Quarter.
