American Queen Steamboat Company Reports Record Sales

American Queen Steamboat Company (AQSC) has reported record-setting bookings for the inaugural season of the American Duchess, scheduled to make its debut on the Mississippi River in June 2017.

The first and only all-suite river cruise boat with lofts, the boutique paddlewheeler will offer each guest generous amounts of space showcased by three 550-square-foot Owner’s Suites, four 550-square-foot Loft Suites, and two 450-square-foot Deluxe Suites, in addition to spacious Veranda Suites and Interior Suites.

Itineraries on the new vessel will include entertainment and shore excursions, as well as enhanced pre-cruise hotel nights at boutique properties. Single-seating dining will be available in two venues, The Grand Dining Room and The Grill Room, whose menus will consist of regionally inspired cuisine, using fresh and local ingredients.

Fares begin at $1,499 per guest based on double occupancy. AQSC also owns and operates American Queen, the largest riverboat in the world, and American Empress.
