Carnival Cruise Lines Launches "50 Cruises a Day Giveaway" for Travel Agents

carnival victoryCarnival Cruise Lines has unveiled its "50 Cruises a Day Giveaway" for travel agents. Each booking made by travel professionals between Dec. 16, 2013, and Jan. 31, 2014, will automatically qualify them to win one of 50 cruises given away daily as part of the promotion.

“We wanted to round out 2013 and kick off 2014 with a program to show travel professionals that the initiatives we launched earlier this year are here to stay and are going to continue in a big way,” said Joni Rein, Carnival’s vice president of worldwide sales. “This unprecedented giveaway not only shows our strong appreciation for travel professionals, but also gives them an opportunity to immerse themselves in the Carnival product they’re selling.”

Through Jan. 31, 2014, each booking made by a travel professional will be automatically entered into the program. Winners will be chosen at random and announced daily beginning on Dec. 23, 2013 and travel professionals may book their award cruise directly through a dedicated toll-free reservation line.

As part of the program, travel professionals may select from a variety of itineraries and cruise durations departing between January and May and bring up to three guests with them based on availability. Travel professionals will be responsible for government fees and taxes, gratuities and any on-board expenses.

The giveaway follows a series of new promotions and enhancements the line has rolled out based on travel agent feedback. Recently, the company released details on this year's Wave Season support, which offers discounts of up to $400 per stateroom on a variety of “Fun Ship” departures booked in the month of January.
