Costa Cruises Reveals Costa Diadema's 1,640-Foot Promenade

costa diadema promenade

Costa Cruises' new Costa Diadema will have a 1,640-foot promenade on the ship's Deck 5, offering views of the sea and decorated with large glass mosaics from Roberto Ixio.

The longest promenade of Costa's fleet, it measures 16 feet across and up to 26 feet wide where the six cabanas and two Jacuzzis are located. The cabanas and hot tubs extend out from the side of the ship, creating the sensation of being suspended over the sea.

The ship's christening ceremony is scheduled for Nov. 7, 2014, in Genoa, Italy.

Starting Nov. 8 and for the rest of the 2014-15 winter season and the 2015 summer season, Costa Diadema will depart Savona on seven-night cruises to the western Mediterranean, calling at Marseille, France; Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca, Spain; and Naples and La Spezia, Italy.
