The Queen Mary 2 can be seen on TV in October in a new special produced by NBC-owned and -operated stations, appropriately titled "Onboard Queen Mary 2–A Transatlantic Adventure." The 30-minute program takes viewers on an in-depth tour of the ocean liner, tracing Cunard's pre-eminence as the first and only line offering regularly scheduled transatlantic ocean travel. Emmy Award-winning news anchor Jane Hanson hosts the special, which is scheduled to air in major U.S. cities this month.
