First Look: Queen Elizabeth's Rostron Suite

Cunard Line’s new Queen Elizabeth has nine different types of staterooms and suites including Grand Suites. Following up on her initial report on the ship, Susan J. Young, our senior contributing editor of cruise, toured one of the Grand Suites today. The photo gallery below is a sampling of photographs of the Rostron Suite, #7150, a Q1 grade suite.

With a spacious, elegant entryway, the Rostron Suite is named for Commodore Sir Arthur Rostron, one of six Cunard Commodores who have been knighted.

This suite has a secluded aft position and a spacious verandah. Located on Deck 7, it features a large living area, dining area, full marble bathroom, and generous desk and storage space. The colors are cream, tan and other light tones.

The bathroom has a both a shower and a luxurious soaking tub, with a lovely mosaic above it. We’ll have more on this and other suites on the new ship in the next edition of Travel Agent magazine. Stay tuned this week for video of the new ship, and Susan's report on the historic christening ceremony.
