MSC Poesia Nears Completion

The finishing touches are being put on MSC Cruises' third ship in its Musica class, MSC Poesia, as the ship nears its float out scheduled for the end of the month. Over the last few days, the ship's two rear funnels and two rudders have been installed, which now makes the 90,000-ton Poesia "structurally complete" and ready to join the MSC fleet as its ninth ship in April. MSC Fantasia will join the fleet in fall 2008 and followed by sister ship MSC Splendida in 2009. Both ships will weigh in at 133,500 tons.
