NCL Converting to E-Docs

April 27, 2007 By: David Eisen Travel Agent

Norwegian Cruise Line is going paperless. Beginning May 28, the cruise line will be converting to electronic documentation of all cruise bookings, which will give guests online access to their bookings up to 60 days before their sailing date. "E-docs offer increased flexibility and choice," said NCL president Andy Stuart in a company statement, "in addition to significantly enhancing reliability and earlier delivery of cruise documents." The new system also allows guest to fill out their advance guest registration form up to four days prior to sailing, an increase of 10 days more time. Princess Cruises was the first to go paperless back in November, and allows guests to fill out their passenger information online, check itineraries and purchase shore excursions.
