NCL's Pride of Hawaii Will Be Norwegian Jade

The Pride of Hawaii will sail as the Norwegian Jade once it begins service in Europe next March. The vessel will be reflagged into the Bahamas' registry and undergo a quick wet dock in Honolulu in February, where the ship will be outfitted with some new additions such as a casino. NCL is redeploying the ship to Europe after deciding it had too much capacity in Hawaii to turn profits. Once positioned, the ship will operate 12-, 13- and 14-day eastern and western Mediterranean cruises before shifting to Southampton, England for a series of sailings to the Mediterranean, North Cape, Western Europe and British Isles. The Norwegian Jade will be joined in Europe by the Norwegian Gem and Norwegian Jewel, whose reservations will open April 17. Jade's itineraries will go on sale a week later. Visit [www.ncl.com].
