Agents can now book Oceania Cruises with Amadeus' automated cruise booking tool, the line said. Amadeus Cruise allows any travel agency to sell cruises right from their desktop using the Internet, regardless of their location or GDS affiliation. Right now, travel agents in the U.S. and Canada can book Oceania Cruises using Amadeus Cruise, with the U.K. and other markets to follow. As an additional incentive for U.S. and Canadian agents, Oceania Cruises is offering a $50 bonus commission on any cruises booked before Jan. 31, 2006 (with a maximum of 10 bookings per agency or agency group). Oceania Cruises will also pay a 5 percent commission on shore excursions booked through Amadeus Cruise.
