Peter Deilmann Cruises has expanded its no-smoking restrictions to include all inside areas of its European river fleet beginning in 2008, the river cruise line announced on Tuesday. Smoking will now only be allowed on open decks. "The laws in Europe are evolving to ban smoking indoors and we are adjusting our policy to reflect this shift in sentiment," said Ron Santangelo, Deilmann's North America president. Santangelo said that the new policy came partly as a result of American disdain toward smoking.
