Preview of Cunard's Queen Victoria

Joining the Cunard fleet in December 2007 is Queen Victoria, whose interior public spaces include double- and triple-height spaces--a design feature of previous ships. Cunard President and Managing Director Carol Marlow has stated of the new liner: "This will be a unique ship offering our guests a glorious taste of grand ocean liner travel from days gone by, along with every modern convenience..."There will be a grand, colonial-style conservatory complete with a retractable roof as well as the first traditional West End-style private viewing boxes at sea, in the Royal Court Theater. Queen Victoria is the second-largest Cunard liner ever built and its debut will mark the first time three Cunard Queens (the other two are Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth 2) have been in service together in the company's 167-year history.
