Royal Caribbean Extends Loyalty Program to YouthMarch 27, 2007 By: David Eisen Travel Agent
Royal Caribbean's loyalty program just got younger. The cruise line has introduced a loyalty program specifically designed for cruisers under the age of 18, the cruise line announced Monday. The Crown & Anchor Society Youth Program will launch on Liberty of the Seas' maiden voyage slated for May 19, and offer membership benefits for younger guests each time they sail with Royal Caribbean. Benefits include onboard specials at spots such as Ben & Jerry's and Y-spa, Royal Caribbean's teen spa. "With the increase of multi-generational travel, it has become even more important to provide programs that cater to young cruisers," said Adam Goldstein, president of Royal Caribbean International. Members will automatically attain their parent's membership level--Gold, Platinum, Diamond or Diamond Plus--when they enroll. Parents can enroll their children in the program at [www.royalcaribbean.com/youth].
