Seabourn has celebrated the keel laying for Seabourn Ovation during a ceremony held at the Fincantieri shipyard in Sestri, Italy. Scheduled to debut in the spring of 2018, the ceremony marks a significant milestone in the construction of the line's newest luxury cruise ship.
Seabourn Ovation is the sister ship to Seabourn Encore, which was delivered on November 30.
Building on Seabourn's Odyssey-class ships and designed by leading hospitality designer Adam D. Tihany, the all-suite ship will be configured with one additional deck, new expanded public areas and is expected to carry 600 guests. In addition, every suite will have a private veranda.
