Silversea Switches Ship For Privileged Passage Debut

January 25, 2007 By: David Eisen Travel Agent

Silversea has announced that its Privileged Passage program, a flexible-sailing program that dispenses with formal night and receptions, will now be tested on the Silver Cloud's seven-day July 13 cruise from Athens, rather than the previously announced 10-day Silver Whisper voyage in April. "We realized a shorter voyage would be a better fit for the kind of active lifestyle travelers we're targeting," said David Morris, Silversea's executive vice president of sales and marketing for North America. "Privileged Passage is designed to offer optimal flexibility, so it only makes sense to test it out on a shorter cruise." The Privileged Passage program also promotes more flexibility with extended fitness center and spa hours and early embarkation and late disembarkation at no additional cost. Early booking incentive fares start at $5,350 per person. Visit [] for more information.
