Variety Cruises Offers Two LGBT-Friendly Voyages Aboard the Harmony V

 

Variety Cruises announced two departures for its Rainbow Spirit Cruise 2013. Passengers of this LGBT-friendly eight day Aegean Islands cruise leave Athens on Aug. 9 and 23, 2013 aboard the mega yacht Harmony V. Each day, passengers will enjoy a new port of call, coves and glimpses of ancient history.

Travelers will embark at Athen’s Marina Zea and head to the archaeological site of Delos. The Temples of Isis and Hera, can be found on this island which is also the birth place of both Apollo and Artemis. After a morning of exploring Delos’ archeological sites, the yacht continues to the island of Mykonos for a day and a half. 

The cruise next visits Santorini for a day of scouting the island’s small villages or an optional excursion to a winery. The island-hopping continues the following day with a visit Folegandros. While docked on the small island of Poliegos the next day, cruise-goers feast on an on-deck BBQ before continuing to the island of Milos. The final day of the voyage is spent on Hydra.

The voyage is punctuated with regular swim stops throughout the Aegean Sea.

Fares for the Rainbow Spirit Cruise 2013 range from $2,350-$3,250 per person, depending on cabin category.
