Crystal Reports Surge in Customized Excursions

Crystal Cruises' Crystal Private Adventures program has seen a 55 percent bump in usage, the luxury line reports. From January through August 2007, booked private excursions jumped twofold over 2006. About 70 percent of the customized arrangements coincide with a European cruise, Crystal says. Custom excursions include private yacht cruises, wine tastings and private golf outings. The program is available to all Crystal guests but does require a $100 non-refundable fee. If the guest accepts the excursion, the service fee is applied to the booking.
