TAM Airlines has just announced its newest international destination. Beginning in December, the carrier will operate service between Brasilia, Brazil, and Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic.
The new flight is in alignment with LATAM Airlines Group’s strategy to strengthen the connectivity of its international markets, particularly in Latin America.
“We are constantly expanding our foreign network. Following Toronto, Punta del Este and Barcelona, this is the fourth new international destination in 2015,” said Claudia Sender, CEO of TAM, in a written release. “The service also reinforces our commitment to strategically promote our connectivity from Brasilia, where we recently launched non-stop flights to Orlando, in the United States, and Buenos Aires, in Argentina.”
The airport in Brasilia, Brazil’s federal capital, features the latest infrastructure and enjoys a strategic central geographic position in Brazil, offering fast direct connections to Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Porto Alegre and other cities.
Tickets for this new service between Brasilia and Punta Cana are available for flights departing between December 5, 2015, and March 15, 2016. The schedule of flights after this period is still pending authorization by Dominican authorities and will be announced soon.
