Details Emerge on Three Upcoming Marriott Hotels in Europe

Marriott International announced last week that it has signed agreements to add three more hotels to its lodging portfolio in Europe.

The hotels are the 139-room Courtyard Wiesbaden Nordenstadt Hotel in Germany (June 2011); the 124-room Courtyard Montpellier in France (December 2011); and the 225-room Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel in Poland (2013).

The 139-room Courtyard Wiesbaden Nordenstadt Hotel will open in June under a franchise agreement with Realotel Wiesbaden Hotel Betriebsgesellschaft mbH. The hotel, formerly the Ramada Hotel Wiesbaden, will be converted to the Courtyard by Marriott brand following renovation.

Opening in December under a franchise agreement with Matea Sarl, the 124-room Courtyard Montpellier Hotel will be located in the heart of Montpellier, close to shops and restaurants. Montpellier is the eighth largest and fastest growing city in France.

When it opens in 2013 under a franchise agreement with Port-Hotel Sp.z.o.o., the 225-room Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel will be Marriott International’s third hotel in Warsaw. Located across from the international terminal of Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport, the Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel will have almost 10,000 square feet of meeting space as well as an indoor pool and state-of-the art health and leisure center.
