Seychelles to Open Tourist Office in Spain

Seychelles President James Michel in his officeIt was announced during Seychelles President James Michel’s visit to Spain that the African islands will be reopening a tourist office in Spain. The announcement was made by President Michel himself in a meeting with the Spanish Leader and Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board.

President Michel again refered to this announcement at his press conference on the eve of his departure from Spain. Alain St.Ange, CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, was asked by Spanish television about this announcement, and confirmed that Spain was a target market for Seychelles.

Presently, Seychelles is engaged in discussions with an airline to bring out increased air access to Spain and to Europe as a whole. Alain St.Ange said that Seychelles hopes to announce the re-opening of their new tourist office in Spain at FITUR 2011.
