Eurostar Promotes Tourism With Launch of 'Da Vinci Code' Film

With the upcoming May 19 release of "The Da Vinci Code" movie, Eurostar—the high-speed train that links the UK with France and Belgium—is kicking off an international campaign to promote tourism to London, Paris and Edinburgh. The film release is expected to boost ticket sales as the company has already experienced an increase in sales from the best-selling novel. North American ticket sales were up 7 percent in 2005. Look for Eurostar, Rail Europe, England, France and Scotland to soon launch a series of marketing and promotional programs in the U.S. on TV, online and in rail stations.
