CLIA's cruise3sixty Again to Be in Fort Lauderdale

The Cruise Lines International Association has again chosen Fort Lauderdale to host its annual cruise3sixty event, a travel agent conference and trade show, which will be held March 7-9 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. The event also was held there last year. One of the reasons for choosing the site is that it adjoins Port Everglades, making cruise ship tours a snap. Agents who attended in 2007 described the event as "valuable, educational, productive and invigorating." The event draws cruise lines together with travel agents and sellers of travel to promote business, networking and information exchange. "We're looking to introduce new elements in 2008," said Terry Dale, CLIA's president. Registration for cruise3sixty will be available starting in September at [www.cruise3sixty.com].
