Ferrell Tees Off for Charity at Temecula Creek Inn

Actor/comedian Will Ferrell recently teamed up with 200 fellow golfers to raise more than $100,000 at the 13th Annual Cancer for College Charity (CFC) Golf Tournament and Banquet hosted by Temecula Creek Inn, located in the heart of Southern California's wine country. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit college students who have survived cancer. The 300-acre golf resort offers a 27-hole championship layout set against a backdrop of hills and the San Jacinto Mountains. Ferrell became involved in fundraising for the tournament when his college friend and former fraternity brother at University of Southern California, Craig Pollard, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease. Temecula Creek Inn is presently home to several charitable golf tournaments including the Easter Seals, Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Make-A-Wish Foundation. The hotel also hosts the Golden State Tours and PepsiCo, Inc. tours.
