Registration for Travel Week, this year's don't-miss industry gathering that in 2006 drew more than 6,800 travel industry professionals, is now open. The event, scheduled for the first week of December, is expanding to include other industry events and is expected to draw more than 9,000 professionals to Las Vegas. It is an inclusive week comprised of educational programming, more than 650 suppliers and networking at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. The marquee event of Travel Week is Luxury Travel Expo, December 4-6. Now in its ninth year, Luxury Travel Expo is the most established and influential luxury travel industry event in North America and remains the only travel event solely dedicated to luxury. Home-Based Travel Agent Expo & Conference is going into its second year and will run concurrent with Luxury Travel Expo. To date, it is the largest gathering of qualified North American home-based travel sellers. New to this year's Travel Week is The Travel Institute's Conference, which will take place in conjunction with both shows on Tuesday, December 4. This half-day workshop will consist of hands-on industry training and is exclusive to Luxury Travel Expo and Home-Based Travel Agent Expo & Conference attendees only.
