Hilton Cartagena has unveiled a new $5 million executive tower, which adds 53 non-smoking rooms to the property. The new tower is adjacent to the convention center in the hotel’s north wing and features 46 executive guest rooms and seven executive suites, all with access to the new executive lounge. This addition is the latest in Hilton Cartagena’s upgrades, following the opening of the hotel’s new spa in late 2007. Hilton Cartagena also completed a $2 million makeover in early 2006, which included upgrades to guest rooms, dining areas, the hotel's exterior and also added new meeting space.
