AA Launches More Services Between New York and Europe

August 28, 2007 By: Jennifer Merritt Travel Agent

American Airlines on Monday announced the addition of services between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Milan and Barcelona; the carrier also is adding a second round trip between JFK and London's Stansted Airport. Flights begin in 2008. Starting May 1, American will commence flights to Milan and Barcelona, and on April 7, the airline will initiate its second daily service to Stansted, a service that officially kicks off October 28 of this year. All three routes will use Boeing 767-300 aircraft that have 221 seats, including 30 of American's new "Next Generation Business Class" seats. These new routes are part of the carrier's initiative, launched earlier this year, which aims at making American the airline of choice in the New York market. Visit [].
