American Airlines is seeking approval from the United States Department of Transportation to launch nonstop service from Los Angeles International Airport to Pudong International Airport in Shanghai as of April 5, 2011.
The airline will operate daily nonstop service aboard 247-seat Boeing 777 aircrafts.
