Delta, US Airways Add New Transatlantic Service

Last week, Delta Air Lines began services between Atlanta and Dubai, as well as New York and Pisa, while US Airways initiated service between its Philadelphia hub and Brussels. The flights are part of five new transatlantic services Delta is launching this summer and one of three for US Airways. Delta's Atlanta-Dubai service departs Atlanta at 9:10 p.m. and arrives in Dubai the next day at 7:05 p.m. The return flight departs Dubai at 10:45 p.m. and arrives in Atlanta at 5:40 a.m. the following morning. Both flights operate five times a week. Delta's New York-Pisa service operates out of John F. Kennedy International Airport, departing New York at 8:15 p.m. and arriving in Pisa at 11 a.m. the next morning. Return flights depart Pisa at 1:35 p.m. and arrive at JFK at 5:05 p.m. the same day. These flights operate four times per week. US Airways' Philadelphia-Brussels service departs the City of Brotherly Love at 8:35 p.m. and arrives in Brussels at 10:25 a.m. the next day. Flights depart Brussels at 12:40 p.m. and arrive in Philadelphia at 3:25 p.m. the same day. The next European service on deck for US Airways is to Zurich, Switzerland, which launches June 8.
