JetBlue, El Al to Boost Connections from JFK to Tel Aviv

July 22, 2010 By: Staff

JetBlue Airways and EL AL intend to sign an interline agreement, providing new connecting options for both of their customers traveling between the United States and Israel.

Beginning in September, customers will be able to purchase a single ticket for travel on flights of both carriers in one transaction, as well as connect seamlessly to Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport from most JetBlue cities via New York's JFK Airport. Customers traveling on the two carriers will purchase and travel on a single e-ticket and will receive boarding cards for both carriers' flights upon check-in with either JetBlue or EL AL as their baggage will be checked to their final destination.

EL AL has as many as three daily flights to/from Tel Aviv out of New York— which is also JetBlue's main hub with service to more than 50 cities across the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean.
