This Winter, JetBlue Flies South

JetBlue on Thursday announced expanded service that includes destinations in the Caribbean and the Southeast United States. Beginning May, the low-cost carrier will offer nonstop service between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Santo Domingo and Dominican Republic, as well as nonstop service between Boston and Bermuda and Orlando and Ponce Puerto Rico. JetBlue said Bermuda flights begin May 1 and Santo Domingo and Ponce flights begin May 24. Too, Boston also will see additional flights between the Northeastern city and Charlotte, NC beginning May 1. At that time, JetBlue also will launch twice-daily nonstop service between Washington Dulles International Airport and Orlando. Calling the new routes "Banker's Run," as the services connect two of the biggest banking centers in the United States, JetBlue is celebrating the new routes with introductory fares of $79 each way between Boston and Charlotte and $69 each way between Washington and Orlando, for travel booked by March 14 and completed between May 1 and June 15.
