The International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) has announced a new partnership with TAM Airlines, Brazil's flag carrier as well as the Southern Hemisphere's busiest airline (in terms of passengers boarded and flights operated).

TAM Airlines has joined IGLTA as a Gold Global Partner of the IGLTA, offering the Latin American airline special access to the association’s 1,600+ members including hoteliers, tour operators, travel agents, media and other leaders and entrepreneurs in global tourism as well as reaching out to LGBT traveling public.

"TAM Brazilian Airlines has been a member of our organization for many years," says John Tanzella, Executive Director of IGLTA," and we are very excited to now have them as an official Partner in 2009 and in future years. Their service from North America and Europe to Brazil, and beyond Brazil, is excellent and provides our community with a great airline to some phenomenal destinations!"
