Ladies' Days in Jamaica

Half Moon’s Fern Tree, A RockResorts Spa
Ladies can indulge in daily rejuvenating treatments at Half Moon’s Fern Tree, A RockResorts Spa.

Even though spring may soon start warming things up, it’s always nice to get just a little bit warmer. Ladies looking to get out of town for even just a three-day weekend can’t go wrong with Jamaica. Here are three resorts offering pampering rituals you can suggest to your clients looking for a great girlfriend getaway.

The Tryall Club, just outside Montego Bay, is fairly new to the Girlfriend Getaways scene, but we think it will soon become one of Jamaica’s top contenders for this niche market. The resort opens up a new opportunity for ladies to craft their own healthy weekend. Specialists at the resort can help plan each day’s menu in advance, featuring fresh-caught fish, fruit smoothies and other healthy Caribbean specialties. If your clients want a hands-on experience, they can arrange to work together with a chef to learn the preparation of these dishes.

During the day, guests can enjoy a customized program of yoga (inside or out), nature excursions, or time by the pool to relax. Ladies can also arrange to have poolside massages, as well as in-room treatments.

Be sure to book your larger parties in one of the resort’s seaside villas. The Phoenix Villa sits directly on the sea with 50 yards of private beach. The seven-bedroom villa has a 35-foot circular pool, wet bar and large covered verandah, as well as iPod docks, DVD player and CD player. The Reveille Villa has two bedrooms, each with a private bath. The bedrooms open off to the central living room, which has sliding doors that lead to the dining area, terrace and pool deck. The Elysian Plain Villa is a five-bedroom cottage situated on the beach. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, vanity area, terrace and more. A dining area overlooks the pool and ocean, and the villa has 350 feet of its own beach.
