However, when your clients are ready to venture off-site, several resorts partner with neighboring properties, as well as local attractions, to make a guest’s experience even more enjoyable. Here are a few off-site options for golf enthusiasts.

Sandpearl Resort & Spa is one of the newest properties to open on Florida’s Clearwater Beach. Set to celebrate its one-year anniversary in August, the 253-room, eco-friendly property rests on 700 feet of Gulf Coast beach.
Sandpearl offers such onsite amenities as a lagoon-style beachfront pool, as well as dining options ranging from ceviche at Caretta on the Gulf, to fresh pastries at The Marketplace and oceanfront views at Tate Island Grill.
When your clients start to become antsy and feel the need to perfect their swing, Sandpearl can arrange a golf outing at one of its venerable neighbors, the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club or the Belleview Biltmore Resort. Innisbrook, which is about 17 miles away from Sandpearl, has four courses, one of which, Copperhead, takes center stage every March as part of the PGA Tour. However, the recently renovated Island Course is also a prime pick. At the much closer Belleview Biltmore (about five miles away from Sandpearl), the Donald Ross-designed, 71-par championship course offers a challenging game.
The concierge at the Sandpearl can arrange preferred pricing and tee times at both properties’ courses. Prices vary seasonally.
Arrange a stay in the Gulf Front Junior Suites for your clients. These are the most popular and are larger than a standard room. Families traveling together might want to opt for the one- and two-bedroom condos. These accommodations have a full kitchen, washer and dryer, as well as oversized bathrooms.

Florida, Bahama Style
A little further north, and on the other side of the state, the intimate, 87-room Bahama House in Daytona Beach is another option offering golf off-site. As the name indicates, Bahama House is influenced by classic Caribbean styles. The property partners with the Golf Club at Cypress Head, a public club in Port Orange, where golf enthusiasts can test their skills on the medium-length course, which is set in the Florida wetlands. Clients interested in playing a game at Cypress Head may talk to Bahama House’s golf sales manager, Reggie Hunter (877-302-4653), who can set up tee times.
On the property, the best rooms to book are the Oceanfront Efficiency rooms. These accommodations offer views of Daytona Beach, the Atlantic Ocean and pool area from private, furnished balconies, and also include a full kitchen and two queen beds.
Bahama House is now offering a “Girls and Golf” package, which includes playing time at Cypress Head. The two-night package, available through December 31, includes a stay in an oceanview room or efficiency, 30-minute facial and 30-minute massage, as well as one round of golf for two at the Golf Club at Cypress Head.
