Guatemala’s Casa Palopo recently unveiled its newly renovated pool deck. In keeping with the seven-bedroom property's rustic chic vibe, the renovation involved new, custom mosaic tiling of the solar-heated pool, the addition of a wooden deck and backsplash, and overall expansion of the space, where clients can now catch rays and take in the views of Lake Atitlan and its volcanoes from outdoor daybeds and lounge chairs.
Casa Palopo’s pool is adjacent to the property’s Balinese-inspired boutique spa, opened earlier this year, and 6.8 Palopo restaurant.
Located 90 miles from Guatemala City, Casa Palopo is a gorgeous, modern chic villa resort on the hills surrounding Santa Catarina Palopó village, on the shores of Lake Atitlan.
There are only nine rooms here. Seven of the rooms are located in one building while a two-bedroom villa is located in the hills. The rooms all come with either a patio or a balcony, depending on whether the room is located on the first floor or not.
