Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa in Hawaii have named their new Leisure Sales Manager, Emily Blasco. Blasco will manage domestic and international non-Asia wholesale accounts for leisure and group travel to the 22-acre, 519-room ocean front resort. The Sheraton has added new cultural activities for guests and the public to enjoy, including complimentary twice-weekly guided tours of the cultural preserve area adjacent to the resort. Other guest activities include lei making, hula and story-telling around the shoreline fire pit while enjoying s'mores.

Daily pastimes vary and might also include rubber duckie races down the slide. The resort also debuted a new teens-only hangout called Club Le'ale'a (fun) with Xbox and Wii games. "Keauhou" means "new beginnings," and these programming additions along with the addition of Emily Blasco as Leisure Sales Manager are among many excited changes in the coming months. Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa was ranked #7 in Travel and Leisure's World's Best Islands and in Kona, and ranked #6 in TripAdvisor’s Best U.S. Destinations.
