AVANI Hotels & Resorts is making its debut in Europe soon, with the opening of AVANI Avenida Liberdade Lisbon Hotel, located in the Portuguese capital. Following a 1.5 million Euro refurbishment, the 119-key property is slated to open on April 1, 2017.
Formerly Tivoli Jardim Lisboa Hotel, the newest addition to the AVANI portfolio will cater to the needs of Millennial minded travelers, both in product delivery and design elements. The property is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment, including the redesign of the hotel’s façade, guest rooms, lobby, reception and the development of an AVANIFIT gym. An open plan lobby will merge the reception, lounge, meeting and relaxation/“chill” areas together.
All guest rooms will have balconies, while AVANI Premier Rooms will offer views of Avenida da Liberdade and AVANI Deluxe Rooms, located on the hotel’s highest floor, will have views of the city. For families, the AVANI Family Rooms will have king-sized beds and a double sofa-bed, offering lots of room for families and groups.
In terms of culinary concepts, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served at Olivier Avenida Restaurant, which will feature Chef Olivier da Costa’s Mediterranean inspired cuisines. After eating, guests who visit the AVANIFIT gym will have access to the latest cardio equipment, allowing guests to keep up fitness routines while traveling.
For AVANI business guests, the Palacete Conference and Events Centre will neighbor the new property. It offers three floors of event space, with the capability of housing up to 260 guests. The ground floor has a large reception area, while the first floor includes three function rooms (with varied configuration capabilities) and an outdoor terrace, and the top floor offers an executive boardroom with its own foyer and elevator access.
Conveniently located in the city centre, AVANI Avenida Liberdade Lisbon Hotel is only a 15 minute drive from Lisbon International Airport. It’s within walking distance from the underground station, Rossio Train Station and Tram 28. Situated just off the iconic Avenida da Liberdade, the surrounding neighborhood offers luxury boutiques, street cafes and esplanades. Charming surrounding towns include Bairro Alto, Princip Real and Chiado.
