Cendant Hotel Group has purchased the limited-service midscale lodging brand Baymont Inn & Suites. Cendant will acquire worldwide rights to Baymont from The Blackstone Group, but will not acquire any of the 115 franchised properties as part of the deal, which is scheduled to close next month.
