Two of Starwood's newest brands are being built side-by-side, as construction is underway on an ELEMENT hotel and aloft hotel in Lexington, MA. ELEMENT is the name of Starwood's latest upscale extended stay brand, while aloft is categorized as an affordable lifestyle brand. Starwood is tearing down the 118-room Sheraton Lexington to make way for the two builds. The aloft hotel will feature 136 rooms to ELEMENT's 123. Completion of the hotels is slated for next year.
