Days Inn Perks Up Logo

Travel agents are in for an eye surprise when booking Days Inns. The long-time budget chain is getting a facelift, and not just for its properties. The company unveiled a new logo at the 2007 Days Inn Worldwide conference in Las Vegas last week. Gone is the black and yellow color scheme with featureless sun; in is a more detailed sun with varying shades of yellow set against a pattern of blues. The new logo also signifies more change for the company, said Days Inn's outgoing president Joe Kane, which includes a new breakfast program along with upgraded bath amenities, bedding and free high-speed Internet.
